Bishops across Ontario are asking for an email address from every Catholic family in their community. This information will be used to communicate on issues of particular importance for the Catholic community.
The first campaign of 2018 is the Call for Conscience, inviting our elected Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP's) and those seeking office this June to increase funding and access to palliative care, to protect health care workers wanting, in conscience, to abstain from any involvement in euthanasia/assisted suicide and to protect faith based facilities from participation in assisted suicide.
Sign up this week and next for information about CALL FOR CONSCIENCE.
DONE. However, we the Canadian Catholics have no line of communication if we want to say something to our bishop. Official line is SILENT. You never get your answer. Communication suppose to go both way, not only one way. For example I would like to know, why and based on WHAT Canadian Church is spreading Communion on Hands? Why many priests are sitting during Holy Communion and Eucharistic Ministers are doing the most HOLY of priest duty? Why so many young Catholics are leaving the Church for good? Who is going answer to many more questions? Catholics have no way of exchange any information with the bishop. All is falling on the deaf ears.
