St. Thomas More Annual Meeting - Sunday, April 26, 2015

1.  Invocation & Welcome – Fr. Hodgins

2.  Change of Mass Time -  4:00 pm  September 6  
Beginning Labour Day Weekend we will move to the new Mass time of 4:00 p.m.  This will allow more time for choir practice and  development of our music programme. We look forward to benefactors who will help fund extra expenses, the development of the STM choral music programme and bursaries for students in the STM Choristers (children's choir).


3.  Pentecost Novena:  May 16 – 24 
Prayer for evangelization and the discernment of STM’s mission under the guidance of God, the Holy Spirit. The Novena will be posted on the website, FB page, etc.

4.  Pentecost Sunday, May 24 at 1:45 p.m.
Reception, Confirmation and First Communion of new members.

5.  STM Patronal Festival, Sunday, June 14, 1:45 pm.
The STM Choristers will sing that day. It will also be the last day   for the parish choir to sing. Summer music schedule will be with cantor & organist only from June 21 - August 30.

6.  Budget 2015 – 2016
Mario Josipovic, churchwarden, presented the budget which has shown steady growth on the income side over the past three years. We are now officially a Quasi-parish and are moving to the new Ordinariate web-based record keeping system.  

7.  Sunday, Sept. 13 – Celebration of Queen Elizabeth II  4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
The Queen will, D.V., be the longest reigning Queen of Canada and the Commonwealth as of the second week of September, 2015.
Special guests are being invited TBA. Mass, Benediction and a reception are planned.
